As the Founder and Principal Physician at New Definition Health, Dr. Francis is dedicated to delivering personalized, comprehensive, and evidence-based weight management solutions to her patients. Board certified in obesity (weight loss) medicine, she focuses on providing accessible and effective therapies that prioritize overall health improvement alongside weight loss.
Dr. Francis received her medical degree from The Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine where she graduated with Sigma Sigma Phi Honors. She then continued her training in internal medicine at the University of Illinois in Chicago at the Advocate Christ Medical Center and was distinguished as a Chief Resident. She then began her medical career in a large health system, where she quickly realized the existing system did not support the individualized and holistic approach to health she believed in. Driven by a desire to provide care that genuinely met her patients' needs, she established her own practice. Here, she combines cutting-edge medical research with her commitment to patient care, offering treatments that align with her philosophy of empowering each patient on their health journey.
Outside of her work, Dr. Francis continues to engage in professional learning and advocacy for evidence-based obesity treatments. Her unwavering commitment to her patients' health and wellbeing truly sets her apart in the field of weight management.
Her hobbies and interests include healthy cooking for her family, reading (and listening to audiobooks), spoiling her 2 German Shepherd Dogs and Training in Weight Lifting.
